1. A method comprising:
while communicating on a first dynamic frequency selection (DFS) WiFi channel, receiving a set of electromagnetic signals by a computing device;
analyzing the set of electromagnetic signals by the computing device relative to one or more attributes to determine one or more metrics characterizing the set of electromagnetic signals;
comparing at least one of a first metric of the one or more metrics to a first threshold,
wherein the first threshold is user configurable;
based on the comparing, determining whether the set of electromagnetic signals are radar signals by the computing device; and
if it is determined that the set of electromagnetic signals are not radar signals, continuing to communicate on the first DFS WiFi channel by the computing device.
