1. A method, comprising:
facilitating, by configuration equipment comprising a processor, receiving request data representative of a planning request for a network equipment project applicable to network equipment that is part of a network, wherein the planning request comprises a first time period comprising a requested duration for completion of the network equipment project;
based on the request data and a logical inventory model of resources, identifying, by the configuration equipment, a logical process model for the network equipment project, wherein the logical inventory model is accessible via storage equipment, wherein the logical process model corresponds to characteristics of service equipment applicable to the network equipment project, and wherein the logical process model comprises a second time period comprising an estimated time for completion determined based on the logical inventory model;
based on the second time period and a validation criterion, comparing, by the configuration equipment, the first time period to the second time period to validate the first time period by determining whether completion of the network equipment project in the requested duration is possible based on the logical inventory model and the logical process model, wherein the validation criterion comprises a concurrency check for network resource reservation, and wherein the network resource reservation for which the concurrency check is made relates to an IP address;
transforming, by the configuration equipment, the logical process model into a physical process model that references the service equipment applicable to the network equipment project;
based on the request data and the physical process model, facilitating, by the configuration equipment, provisioning, for the network equipment project, the service equipment;
facilitating, by the configuration equipment, deploying the service equipment provisioned for the network equipment project, resulting in deployed service equipment;
based on the logical process model and the deployed service equipment, discovering, by the configuration equipment, a group of deployed service equipment with a characteristic that deviates from the logical process model; and
modifying, by the configuration equipment, the physical process model to incorporate the characteristic that had deviated.
