1. A system configured to increase an ability of a person with a visual,
a hearing, a mobility and/or a cognitive disability to orient, locate, and travel within an environment, the system comprising:
an application executable on a computing device, wherein the application allows an autonomous vehicle (AV) to be configured with preferences of a user;
the AV;
a vehicle control API;
a translation module configured to communicate with the AV through the vehicle control API, wherein the translation module resides in a cloud or resides onboard the AV through a microcontroller-based module;
a first transceiver connected to the AV;
a second transceiver is remotely located from the AV and in electrical communication with the computing device, the second transceiver to receive location data of the AV transmitted by the first transceiver, the second transceiver to transmit location data of the computing device to the first transceiver; and
a global positioning system (GPS) to determine one or more coordinates of the first transceiver of the AV and of the second transceiver; and
wherein the translation module to associate a three-word combination with a predetermined geographical area of the one or more coordinates; and
wherein the translation module to translate the three-word combination into directions to the one or more coordinates.
