1. A device, comprising:
a touch screen display;
at least one processing device coupled to the touch screen display;
a sensor; and
at least one memory device storing instructions executable by the at least one processing device, the instructions, when executed, causing the device to perform steps comprising:
logically separating the touch screen into a plurality of input zones;
using a data obtained by the sensor to determine a handedness of a user;
assigning a unique priority to each of the plurality of input zones in accordance with at least a distance between each one of the plurality of input zones and a one of a plurality of reference points on the device that is selected based on the determined handedness of the user;
determining that a user has interacted with a first one of the plurality of input zones and a second one of the plurality of input zones within a predetermined period of time; and
in response to determining that the user has interacted with the first one of the plurality of input zones and the second one of the plurality of input zones within the predetermined period of time, using only the unique priorities assigned to the first one of the plurality of input zones and the second one of the plurality of input zones to select a one of the first one of the plurality of input zones and the second one of the plurality of input zones, and causing the device to perform an action that is mapped to the one of the first one of the plurality of input zones and the second one of the plurality of input zones selected.
