1. A system for ingesting healthcare data and generating a recommendation, the system comprising:
one or more sensors;
a patient database that stores information about a plurality of patients including demographic information, medical conditions, and patient identifiers that uniquely identify each patient; and
a computer-based adapter comprising a non-transitory computer readable memory storing software instructions and at least one processor, the processor being coupled with the memory and the patient database and configured to execute the software instructions to perform operations including:
obtaining sensor data from the one or more sensors;
associating the sensor data with a patient via the patient identifier of the patient; and
reconfiguring the one or more sensors from a first sensor configuration to a different second sensor configuration based on the patient identifier and the sensor data with respect to at least one of the patient demographic information and the medical condition.
