1. A refrigerator comprising:
a storage chamber having a space to store a preserved product;
a power supply unit;
an oscillator that is supplied with power from the power supply unit and forms high frequency power;
an oscillation electrode and a counter electrode disposed facing each other and connected to the oscillator, the oscillation electrode and the counter electrode receiving the high frequency power from the oscillator to generate a high-frequency electric field in the storage chamber;
a matching circuit that matches an output impedance of the oscillator to a load impedance of a device including the oscillation electrode and the counter electrode;
a controller configured to control application of the high-frequency electric field between the oscillation electrode and the counter electrode; and
a shield that prevents leakage of an electromagnetic wave due to generation of the high frequency power, wherein
the power supply unit includes
a first power supply part that rectifies an alternating current from a commercial alternating-current power supply and converts the alternating current into a direct current,
a first ground part having a reference potential of the first power supply part,
a second power supply part and a third power supply part that step down an output voltage of the first power supply part and output the stepped-down output voltage,
a second ground part having a reference potential of the second power supply part, and
a third ground part having a reference potential of the third power supply part,
wherein the oscillator is supplied with power from the second power supply part,
the controller is supplied with power from the third power supply part,
the shield is not electrically connected to the counter electrode, or if not insulated, is connected at a location separated by a predetermined distance from the counter electrode, and
the shield is not connected to any of the first ground part, second ground part, or third ground part.
