An electromagnetic brake with a housing body and an armature disk, wherein the housing body comprises a pole core, wherein the armature disk is guided axially via a groove-lug connection in the housing body, wherein the groove-lug connection comprises at least one guide groove and at least one associated guide lug, wherein a friction disk is positively connected to the housing body.
