1. A juice-based method for reacting an amine and an organic compound to form a pyrrole, comprising:
mixing an amine of formula (2) with a compound of formula (3) in the absence of a solvent to form a reactant mixture,

adding a juice from a fruit of a plant in the genus Malus to the reactant mixture and agitating,
reacting the amine of formula (2) with the compound of formula (3) form a product mixture containing a pyrrole of formula (1),

wherein the reacting includes mixing in a biphasic medium,
wherein R1 and R2 together form a five-, six-, or seven-membered ring with the carbon atoms to which they are attached; and
wherein R3 is an optionally substituted aryl.
