A glass fiber, comprising as a glass composition, in terms of mass %, 55% to 80% of SiO2, 0% to 15% of Al2O3, 18% to 24% of B2O3, 0% to 4% of MgO, 0% to 5% of CaO, 0% to 1% of SrO, 0% to 2% of Li2O, 0% to 3% of Na2O, 0% to 2% of K2O, 1% to 3.8% of Li2O+Na2O+K2O, 0% to 0.2% of ZrO2, 0% to 0.5% of SnO2, 0.01% to 6% of TiO2, and 0.01 ppm to 500 ppm of MoO3, more than 0.0050% of SO3, 0% to 0.15% of Fe2O3, 0.01 ppm to 100 ppm of Pt,
having a total content of MoO3, Cr2O3, Pt, and Rh of from 0.02 ppm to 500 ppm, and
having a value of TiO2 (mass %)×MoO3 (ppm) of 3,000 or less.
