1. A dielectric heating device comprising:
a first heater that is configured to heat and dry a liquid and that includes
a first electrode and a second electrode that face a medium on which is deposited the liquid containing water and
a first coil electrically coupled in series with the first electrode
and
a voltage application section that applies an AC voltage having a predetermined driving frequency to the first electrode and to the second electrode, wherein
the first heater is configured such that a difference between the driving frequency and a resonant frequency of the first heater when the water content of the medium is in a first range is smaller than a difference between the driving frequency and the resonant frequency of the first heater when the water content is in a second range, which is smaller than the first range, and
a heat amount when the water content is in the first range is larger than a heat amount when the water content is in the second range.
