1. A method for treating a patient, comprising:
providing a control unit electrically connected to a connection board having connection pads;
providing a garment worn by the patient, the garment having a connection unit having connection elements, the connection board having fastening means for detachably connecting the connection pads to the connection elements, the connection unit being electrically connected to a first electrode and a second electrode placed at a first agonist muscle or first nerve of the patient and a third electrode and a fourth electrode placed at a second agonist muscle or second nerve, the garment having sensors attached to the garment and electrically connected to the connection unit and the connection board;
at least one sensor of the sensors measuring position, electrical signals or movement of the patient wearing the garment;
the control unit receiving information about the position or movement and comparing the position, electrical signals or movement to an interval of pre-stored positions, electrical signals levels or movement;
when the position, electrical signals or movement is outside the interval, the control unit sending through the connection unit a first stimulation signal configured to stimulate the first agonist muscle without shortening the first agonist muscle and therefore preventing a contraction of the agonist first muscle to cause or facilitate a relaxation of the second agonist muscle;
when the position, electrical signals, or movement is within the interval, the control unit sending no stimulation signals;
at least one sensor of the sensors measuring a body posture of an upper body of the patient;
determining that the body posture of the upper body is outside a predetermined range; and
stimulating the first agonist muscle until the first agonist muscle moves the body posture from the outside of the predetermined range to an inside of the predetermined range.
