1. An air pressure apparatus for a urine management system, comprising:
a connector including a connector lumen along a longitudinal axis; and
an adapter coupled to the connector forming a fluid tight seal, the adapter comprising:
an adapter lumen along the longitudinal axis, the connector having a reduced diameter portion extending into the adapter lumen, the reduced diameter portion including an opening in fluid communication with the adapter lumen, wherein a luminal space is defined in the adapter lumen around the reduced diameter portion of the connector, and
an air intake port including a port lumen orthogonal to the longitudinal axis, the air intake port configured to provide a positive air flow to the luminal space to draw a fluid through the opening of the reduced diameter portion of the connector.
