1. A composition for in-situ formation of a layer over the skin of a subject, wherein said composition is a two-part composition comprising a first and a second part;
wherein said first part has a viscosity above 100 cP at about 25° C. and comprises as ingredients:
Polymer A, which is vinyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane having an average molecular weight above about 72,000 Da and below about 200,000 Da;
Polymer B, which is hydride terminated polydimethylsiloxane having an average molecular weight between about 2,200 and about 6,000 Da;
wherein said first part comprises about 50 to about 90% by weight of Polymer A, about 5 to about 30% by weight of Polymer B, and about 5 to about 15% by weight of a reinforcing component;
wherein said second part has a viscosity above about 100 cP at about 25° C. and comprises a catalyst that facilitates crosslinking of the Polymer A and Polymer B;
wherein said second part further comprises Polymer C, which is vinyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane having an average molecular weight below 17,500 Da; and
wherein said reinforcing component has particle size of from about 2 nm to about 1000 nm.
