1. A single layer film comprising:
a single film-forming polymer as a base material of the single layer film, wherein the single film-forming polymer is either gelatin or pullulan; and
a whitening agent that includes either a surfactant or both a surfactant and a water-soluble salt,
wherein the surfactant is a fatty acid ester of polyhydric alcohol, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, a polyalkylene oxide derivative, an alkyl sulfate ester salt, and/or a saponin.
