1. A surgical robotic arm comprising:
an arm housing having an exterior surface;
a sensor coupled to the exterior surface of the arm housing, the sensor including:
a sensor housing coupled to the exterior surface of the arm housing;
a force sensing resistor disposed within the sensor housing; and
an interface member disposed over the force sensing resistor, the interface member configured to contact the force sensing resistor, wherein the force sensing resistor is configured to measure force in response to contact with the interface member.
