1. A shoe comprising:
a sole;
a shoe upper positioned above the sole and having a tongue portion, a throat area and
a sole area adjacent the sole;
a lacing system comprising:
a plurality of straps, each having a first end and a second end, wherein for each of the plurality of straps, the first end is attached to the tongue portion of the shoe upper and the second end is configured to receive a portion of a shoelace;
a first guiding element and a second guiding element each positioned along an inner side of the shoe upper, the first and second guiding elements each coupling the plurality of straps to the inner side of the shoe upper, wherein the first guiding element is arranged in the throat area of the shoe upper adjacent the second end of each of the plurality of straps, and the second guiding element is arranged in the sole area of the shoe upper, opposite to the throat area; and
a plurality of elastic elements, where each elastic element is attached to one of the plurality of straps and each elastic element extends from the first guiding element to the second guiding element, wherein each elastic element is stretchable along a longitudinal direction of each strap,
wherein tightening the shoelace pulls the second end of each of the plurality of straps towards a throat opening, thereby pulling the first end of each strap and the tongue portion towards the sole area of the shoe upper so the tongue portion wraps around a foot of a wearer and is configured to provide immobilization of the foot of the wearer.
