1. An electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring system, comprising:
at least one memory storing instructions;
at least one wireless transceiver;
at least one sensor operatively connected to the at least one wireless transceiver; and
at least one controller operatively connected to the at least one memory and to the at least one wireless transceiver, and configured to execute the instructions to perform operations, including:
receiving data from the at least one sensor, and collecting the received data in the at least one memory, the received data including ECG data;
at a preset duty cycle and via the at least one wireless transceiver, periodically transmitting a first subset of the received data to a remotely-located data analyzer; and
separate from the preset duty cycle:
receiving a request from the remotely-located data analyzer, wherein the request includes a change in one or more of a data collection parameter or a data transmission parameter of the ECG monitoring system; and
in response to receiving the request:
changing, via the at least one controller, the one or more of the data collection parameter or the data transmission parameter of the ECG monitoring system based on the request; and
via the at least one wireless transceiver, transmitting a second subset of the received data to the remotely-located data analyzer.
