1. An electronic gaming system comprising:
at least one memory with instructions stored thereon; and
at least one processor in communication with the at least one memory, wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
cause display of a first spin of a plurality of reels for an electronic game, wherein the first spin is associated with a first output amount;
select a second output amount for the electronic game;
compare the second output amount to the first output amount; and
based upon comparing the second output amount to the first output amount, one of:
when the second output amount is greater than or equal to the first output amount, cause display of a second spin of the plurality of reels, the second spin associated with the second output amount; or
when the second output amount is less than the first output amount:
select one or more new output amounts, wherein the one or more new output amounts are selected until a new output amount of the one or more new output amounts is greater than or equal to the first output amount; and
cause display of a next spin of the plurality of reels, the next spin associated with the new output amount.
