1. A computer system, comprising:
a first server hosting a first instance of an application within a first data center, the first server advertised via a specific network internet protocol (IP) address of the first data center;
a second server hosting a second instance of the application within a second data center synchronously replicating with the first data center, the second server advertised via the specific network IP address of the first data center; and
a third server hosting a third instance of the application within a third data center asynchronously replicating from the first data center, the second data center, or both, the third server advertised via a less-specific network IP address than the specific IP address of the first data center.
