1. A optical fiber management cassette configured for use in a terminal, the optical fiber management cassette comprising:
one or more splice chips, each of the one or more splice chips comprising:
a splice chip base;
a plurality of posts emanating from the splice chip base and arranged vertically along the splice chip base;
a lower protrusion emanating from at least a first post of the plurality of posts and an upper protrusion emanating from at least a second post adjacent to the first post, wherein the lower protrusion is configured to bias a bottom splice towards the second post, and wherein the upper protrusion is configured to bias a top splice towards the first post; and
chip ends at edges of the splice chip base;
a splice tray having a plurality of undercuts configured to receive and retain the one or more splice chips by coupling the chip ends to the undercuts; and
a base housing having mounting tabs configured to couple with at least the splice tray, wherein the splice tray is supported in the base housing.
