1. A downhole tool, comprising:
an elongate housing having a cavity formed therein;
a beacon installed within the cavity and comprising a transmitting antenna, the transmitting antenna configured to emit a magnetic signal;
a harvesting antenna installed within the housing and situated within a pathway of the emitted magnetic signal; and
an energy storage device installed within the housing and in communication with the harvesting antenna and one or more sensors installed within the housing;
in which the harvesting antenna is configured to harvest power from the magnetic signal and transmit the harvested power to the energy storage device.
