1. A medical device delivery system for delivering a medical implant, comprising:
a catheter having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion;
a handle coupled to the proximal end portion of the catheter;
a lock line handle releasably coupled to the handle;
a lock line having a first end portion fixedly coupled to the lock line handle and a second end portion releasably coupled to the lock line handle by a releasable lock, wherein the second end portion is configured to be released from the lock line handle by release of the lock line handle from the handle; and
a release assembly comprising a release mechanism configured to release the lock line handle from the handle, the release mechanism disposed on and at least partially exposed outside the handle separate from the lock line handle.
