1. A display device, comprising:
an electronic module; and
a display panel, comprising:
a first display area that overlaps the electronic module;
a second display area that does not overlap the electronic module;
a base layer;
a light emitting element layer disposed on the base layer; and
a light blocking layer disposed between the base layer and the light emitting element layer,
wherein the light emitting element layer comprises:
a plurality of first light emitting elements disposed in the first display area; and
a plurality of second light emitting elements disposed in the second display area,
wherein the light blocking layer comprises:
a plurality of first light blocking patterns disposed in the first display area and respectively overlapping the first light emitting elements; and
a plurality of second light blocking patterns disposed in the second display area and respectively overlapping the second light emitting elements.
