1. A radio communication method of connecting a base station with a plurality of terminal stations, the base station including a plurality of radio communication units in accordance with a predetermined communication standard, the method comprising:
collecting, by the base station, from each of the plurality of terminal stations, additional-line information regarding whether the terminal station is compatible with an additional communication standard that is different from the predetermined communication standard, where the additional line information is collected from each of the plurality of terminal stations;
collecting, by the base station, from each of the plurality of terminal stations, request information specifying a radio setting for a radio communication unit of a terminal station of the plurality of terminal stations and identifier information that identifies the terminal station of the plurality of terminal stations, where the request information and the identifier information is collected from each of the plurality of terminal stations;
calculating, by the base station, a setting policy defining a radio setting for each of the plurality of radio communication units and a switching policy defining a condition for a destination for the plurality of radio communication units, where the calculation is based on the additional line information, the request information, and the identifier information; and
setting, by the base station, a setting policy and a switching policy for each of the plurality of radio communication units of the base station to the calculated setting policy and the calculated switching policy, respectively,
wherein the base station is stationary within a service area and is directly connected to a network via a landline connection;
the plurality of the terminal stations are mobile, resides within the service area, and are wirelessly connected to the base station;
the predetermined communication standard is a communication standard for configuring a wireless LAN;
the additional communication standard is a communication standard for implementing cellular communication; and
the radio setting defines at least one of a basic rate, a minimum data rate, a connection permission power threshold, and a disconnection permission power threshold.
