1. An audio system comprising:
a. a first earphone comprising a first magnetically attractable surface;
b. a second earphone comprising a second magnetically attractable surface for removably coupling with the first magnetically attractable surface; and
c. a device controller configured to enable audio from an electronic device to be played in one or more the first earphone and the second earphone when a decoupling of the first magnetically attractable surface and the second magnetically attractable surface is detected.
