1. A method for sharing genetic data, comprising:
providing a database comprising genotype records associated with a plurality of users of an application;
receiving, from a first user of the application, a request to share non-public information with a second user of the application through the application;
receiving, from the second user, approval to share non-public information through the application; and
establishing sharing of non-public information associated with the first user to the second user or of non-public information associated with the second user to the first user.
