1. A method by an access node for ultra-reliable and low latency (URLLC) transmission using multi-transmission reception point (TRP) to a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
allocating, within an active bandwidth part, virtual resource blocks into a first portion and a second portion based on a resource indication value (RIV), a length of contiguously allocated resource blocks (LRBS) and a fraction;
transmitting, using the first portion to the UE via a first transmission reception point (TRP1) associated with a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, and
transmitting the second portion to the UE via a second transmission reception point (TRP2) associated with a second TCI state.
