1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting, to a base station (BS), capability information indicating whether the UE supports a joint hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback or a separate HARQ-ACK feedback;
receiving, from the BS, information indicating a joint HARQ-ACK feedback mode or a separate HARQ-ACK feedback mode based on the capability information;
in case that the information indicates the separate HARQ-ACK feedback mode, transmitting a first HARQ-ACK information for a first node and a second HARQ-ACK information for a second node, respectively; and
in case that the information indicates the joint HARQ-ACK feedback mode, transmitting a third HARQ-ACK information for the first node and the second node on one physical uplink control channel (PUCCH),
wherein the third HARQ-ACK information includes a HARQ-ACK codebook associated with the first node and the second node.
