A separator for a zinc secondary battery comprising a zirconium sulfate-containing porous layer and at least one e-porous base material layer, wherein the zirconium sulfate-containing porous layer and the at least one porous base material layer are stacked on each other, wherein the zirconium sulfate-containing porous layer comprises a porous layer with zirconium sulfate particles adhered to the porous layer, wherein the at least one porous base material layer comprises a first porous base material layer and a second porous base material layer, and wherein the first porous base material layer, the zirconium sulfate-containing porous layer, and the second porous base material layer are stacked in this order.
