1. An optical art kit, comprising:
sheets of cellophane;
one or more polarizing lenses that generate polarizing light;
a plurality of pre-cut patterns having a plurality of shapes, wherein the plurality of pre-cut patterns enable a user to fold the sheets of cellophane and cut along one or more folds of the folded sheets of cellophane, thereby re-creating the plurality of shapes such that the re-created shapes can be oriented with respect to, and viewed under, the polarizing light so that the polarizing light passes through the re-created shapes to generate light reflection, refraction, diffraction, or interference patterns to be viewed by a human eye; and
glossy black cardboard for placing the re-created shapes on for viewing,
wherein the glossy black cardboard comprises a reflective surface, and
wherein the glossy black cardboard has a shape to coordinate with the re-created shapes.
