1. An information processing apparatus, comprising:
processing circuitry configured to
detect a trajectory of a ball in a first moving image; and
set a start frame for starting predetermined processing among frames of the first moving image based on a detection result of the trajectory of the ball in the first moving image,
wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to, in response to determining that a change in direction of the ball is not detected, count a number of consecutive frames in a sequence in which the ball is continuously detected in the first moving image, and set the start frame in response to determining that the counted number of consecutive frames in the sequence is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold number.
