15. A system, comprising:
a processor; and
a storage medium having stored thereon a sequence of instructions which, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform a set of acts, the set of acts comprising:
bootstrapping an invocation of a microservice at a leader node in a first domain at least by installing a microservice registry and the microservice from an installation package that is sent to the leader node, wherein
a leader-follower relationship is established between the leader node and the follower node in a second domain, and
a server points to the microservices registry at the leader node; and
responsive to an event where the follower node is unable to reach the leader node, changing an entry in the server to point to a network address at the follower node in the second domain.
