1. A control method in an information management system including a server and a management server, the control method comprising:
receiving, from a first device used by a first user, (i) user information including private data or personal data of the first user and (ii) permission or non-permission information indicating whether provision of the user information to a second user is permitted;
recording the user information and the permission or non-permission information to a memory;
generating first transaction data that includes (i) identification information being associated with the user information and relates to the first user and indicating an address of the user information registered in the management server and (ii) the permission or non-permission information;
receiving, from the management server, the first transaction data that includes the identification information that indicates the address of the user information registered in the management server and the permission or non-permission information;
verifying whether the permission or non-permission information included in the first transaction data is consistent with permission or non-permission information set by the first user; and
storing, when the verifying of consistency is successful, the first transaction data that includes the identification information that indicates the address of the user information registered in the management server and that is received in a distributed ledger.
