1. A device for a vehicle, comprising:
a light emitting module including light emitting cells;
an object detector configured to detect an object around the vehicle and generate an object detection signal; and
a controller configured to be connected to the light emitting module,
wherein the controller is configured to control the light emitting module such that at least some of the light emitting cells are turned off according to the object detection signal, and
wherein the light emitting module comprises:
a circuit board including interconnection lines;
the light emitting cells being separated from each other on the circuit board and each light emitting cell comprising a light emitting structure, an electrode, and a wavelength converter disposed on the light emitting structure,
a protective layer surrounding side surfaces of the wavelength converter while filling a gap adjacent to the wavelength converter,
wherein the interconnection lines are electrically connected to the light emitting cells.
