1. A dual input master cylinder, comprising:
a housing having a first input;
an end cap;
a piston base positioned within the housing; and
a piston rod having a first end, a second end, a head, and a collar extending outward from the head, the collar being configured to abut the end cap, the first end of the piston rod abutting the piston base and the second end of the piston rod acting as a second input of the dual input master cylinder, wherein the piston rod is capable of being spaced apart from the piston base.
