1. A device, comprising:
a light-emitting body configured for directing antimicrobial light at a percutaneous insertion site; and
a central void in the light emitting body for unobstructed passage of a percutaneous device,
the antimicrobial light for reducing an infection risk from a percutaneous medical device inserted at the insertion site.
