1. An inserter device for deploying an implantable device, the inserter device comprising:
an insertion tube configured to enclose at least a portion of the implantable device;
a rod extending through a portion of the insertion tube between a distal end of the insertion tube and a proximal end of the insertion tube; and
a handle coupled to the proximal end of the insertion tube, the handle comprising a slider button configured to control movement of the insertion tube, wherein the slider button is prevented from moving proximally into a rear position until the slider button has been moved distally from a neutral position into a forward position.
