1. A system comprising:
a bed having a mattress and a foundation configured to support the mattress;
a sensor configured to sense sleep readings of a user sleeping on the bed;
an automation controller configured to transmit the sleep readings sensed by the sensor to a cloud service;
hardware hosting the cloud service configured to receive the sleep readings;
at least one processor and memory storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations, comprising:
receiving, from a first sensor that is configured to sense the user while exercising, exercise activities of the user;
providing a recommendation on a sleep session of the user associated with the bed based on the exercise activities; and
responsive to determining that a user is not in the bed, provide information to the user via a graphic user interface (GUI) based on an adjustment generated for the user.
