1. A pepper plant comprising at least a first set of the chromosomes of pepper line SBR-8T17-6516 or pepper line SBR-8T17-6486, a sample of seed of said lines having been deposited under NCMA Accession No. 202204069 and NCMA Accession No. 202204070, respectively.

The plant of claim 1, wherein the plant is a plant of pepper hybrid SVPB7717, wherein said plant of pepper hybrid SVPB7717 comprises a first set of chromosomes and a second set of chromosomes, wherein said first set of chromosomes is a set of the chromosomes of pepper line SBR-8T17-6516 and said second set of chromosomes is a set of the chromosomes of pepper line SBR-8T17-6486, a sample of seed of said lines having been deposited under NCMA Accession No. 202204069 and NCMA Accession No. 202204070, respectively.
