11. A method for an information processing apparatus configured to communicate with a terminal, the method comprising:
executing automatic clearing for both the information processing apparatus and the terminal on a basis of a user operation on an operation unit of the information processing apparatus and a user operation on an operation unit of the terminal, wherein
the automatic clearing is executed for both the information processing apparatus and the terminal in a case where there is no user operation for predetermined time on the operation unit of the information processing apparatus nor on the operation unit of the terminal, and the automatic clearing is not executed for the information processing apparatus in a case where there is a user operation on the operation unit of the terminal even if there is no user operation on the operation unit of the information processing apparatus before the predetermined time passes after there is no user operation on the operation unit of the information processing apparatus nor on the operation unit of the terminal.
