1. A system comprising:
one or more processors; and
a machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a client device, an indication of a first transit time duration associated with delivery of a first page item to the client device via a first network path;
receiving, from the client device, an indication of a second transit time duration associated with delivery of the first page item to the client device via a second network path;
causing the client device to send a data request for a second page item via one of the first network path or the second network path based at least in part on the first transit time duration and the second transit time duration;
transmitting, to the client device, a second web page that instructs the client device to send the data request for the second page item via one of the first network path or the second network path that has a shorter transit time duration of the first transit time duration and the second transit time duration.
