1. A method, comprising:
detecting interference in a communication signal received by an antenna system that includes a first set of radiating elements associated with a first band and a second set of radiating elements associated with a second band, wherein the interference is generated by one or more interference sources, and wherein the interference is detected by monitoring a near field region of the antenna system, an intermediate field region of the antenna system, a far field region of the antenna system, or any combinations thereof; and
based on the detecting, performing polarization adjusting for the first set of radiating elements, by a first adjustment amount and for the second set of radiating elements by a second adjustment amount different from the first adjustment amount.
