1. A method for estimating MRD1 (Margin Reflex Distance 1) value of a subject, performed by one or more processors, comprising:
receiving, by a communication unit, a frontal facial image in which at least a portion of an eyeball and an eyelid of one eye of the subject are all represented, wherein the frontal facial image comprises a plurality of pixels, each pixel of the plurality of pixels comprises at least one of pixel values, wherein the pixel values are not depth value which indicates calculated distance information;
identifying a boundary between the eyeball of the one eye of the subject and the eyelid of the one eye of the subject, wherein the boundary comprises a first boundary between the eyeball of the one eye of the subject and an upper eyelid of the one eye of the subject;
identifying a cornea area of the one eye of the subject using the frontal facial image, wherein the cornea area comprises an iris and a pupil of the one eye of the subject;
identifying a central point of the cornea area of the one eye of the subject;
obtaining a pixel distance value of MRD1, wherein the pixel distance value of MRD1 is a pixel distance from the central point of the cornea area to the first boundary along a vertical axis of the frontal facial image;
obtaining a pixel distance value of a radius of the cornea area;
selecting a reference distance value corresponding to the subject from among a plurality of pre-stored values based on at least one of the subject's gender, race and age, wherein the reference distance value is related to the radius of the cornea area; and
estimating a MRD1 value of the one eye based on the pixel distance value of MRD1, the pixel distance value of the radius of the cornea area and the reference distance value.
