1. A control device for battery management, the control device comprising:
a first circuit comprising a first multiplexer and a first analog-to-digital converter (ADC), the first circuit coupled to a first battery cell and a second battery cell and configured to sense a voltage drop across the first battery cell, the first circuit further configured to sense a swapped voltage drop across the second battery cell in response to detecting a faulty condition in the second battery cell; and
a second circuit comprising a second multiplexer and a second ADC, the second circuit coupled to the first battery cell and the second battery cell and configured to sense a voltage drop across the second battery cell, the second circuit further configured to sense a swapped voltage drop across the first battery cell in response to detecting a faulty condition in the first battery cell.
