1. An actuation system, the system comprising:
a handle coupled to a door, the handle configured to be manipulable in first and second directions;
a first release mechanism configured to release the door for closure based at least on the handle manipulated in the first direction;
a second release mechanism comprising a switch configured to cause a lock mechanism external to the door to unlock the door for opening based at least on the handle manipulated in the second direction;
a first linkage configured to actuate the first release mechanism by directly contacting the first release mechanism when the handle is manipulated in the first direction; and
a second linkage configured to actuate the second release mechanism by directly contacting the switch of the second release mechanism when the handle is manipulated in the second direction.
