1. An initialization system for a power machine having hardware physically capable of executing at least one function, comprising:
a communication link capable of establishing communication with a remote system; and
a machine controller having a non-volatile memory, the machine controller configured to:
store a software package with a plurality of functions, each function i) being associated with at least a first component of the hardware of the power machine, and ii) being selectively-enablable by the machine controller;
enable, at a first time, a first functions of the plurality of functions such that a first component of the hardware of the power machine is permitted to perform the first function;
determine, at a second time after the first time, that the first function should be disabled; and
responsive to determining that the first function should be disabled, disable the first function of the plurality of functions such that the first component of the hardware of the power machine is prevented from performing the function.
