1. A control device that is applied to a vehicle having: a power source that generates drive power; and a friction braking system that applies a braking force to a wheel according to a pressing force to press a friction member against a rotary body integrally rotating with the wheel and can adjust the braking forces applied to a front wheel and a rear wheel of the wheels separately, the control device comprising:
a braking control unit that controls the friction braking system; and
an estimation unit that estimates an efficacy factor as a factor indicating a relationship between a magnitude of the pressing force and a magnitude of the braking force, wherein
the braking control unit can start micro-braking control for generating the braking force on at least one wheel of the front wheel and the rear wheel in the case where the drive power is increased, and
during execution of the micro-braking control, the estimation unit estimates the efficacy factor for the wheel, to which the braking force is applied by the micro-braking control, on the basis of a deviation between generated drive power that is based on a required value for the power source and actual drive power that actually acts on the vehicle, and the pressing force that corresponds to the wheel, to which the braking force is applied by the micro-braking control.
