1. A method for manufacturing a multilayered composite, comprising:
providing a first layer of a first powder having first hollow microspheres dispersed therein;
providing a second layer of a second powder over the first layer of the first powder, the second layer of the second powder having second hollow microspheres dispersed therein; and
heating the first layer of the first powder and the second layer of the second powder,
wherein at least one of:
(i) the first layer of the first powder comprises a first metallic powder composition, the second layer of the second powder comprises a second metallic powder composition, and the second metallic powder composition is compositionally different from the first metallic powder composition; and
(ii) a thermal microstructural stability point of the second layer of the second powder is greater than a thermal microstructural stability point of the first layer of the first powder.
