1. A surgical instrument system for use in a knee joint replacement operation, the surgical instrument system comprising:
a surgical instrument comprising:
a first fastening device configured for releasable fastening to a reference component which is fitted to a distal femur;
a second fastening device distally spaced apart from the first fastening device and configured for releasable fastening to a tibia cutting block for guiding cutting on a proximal tibia;
a guiding device connected at a first end to the first fastening device and at a second end to the second fastening device and by which the second fastening device is pivotably movable in a manner guided relative to the first fastening device in a sagittal guiding plane; and
an alignment rod configured for alignment with respect to an anterior edge of the tibia, the alignment rod being releasably connected to the second fastening device in a rigid manner;
a reference component releasably fastened to the first fastening device of the surgical instrument; and
a tibia cutting block releasably fastened to the second fastening device of the surgical instrument,
the guiding device having at least one guiding rod that is curved and a guide receiving member in which the at least one guiding rod is received in a state guided in a slidingly movable manner,
the guide receiving member being connected to the first fastening device,
the at least one guiding rod being connected to the second fastening device, or vice versa, and
the second fastening device being guided in a linearly movable manner by the guiding device along a guiding path which is elongate in a circular-arc-like manner relative to the first fastening device.
