1. A method for a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
receiving first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates based on a first fixed number of PDCCH candidates per respective control channel element (CCE) aggregation levels for a first set of CCE aggregation levels, in case that a configuration related to a number of PDCCH candidate per CCE aggregation level is not received by a higher layer signaling;
receiving, via a higher layer signaling, configuration information related to a second number of PDCCH candidates per respective CCE aggregation levels in a second set of CCE aggregation levels; and
receiving second PDCCH candidates based on the second number of PDCCH candidates per respective CCE aggregation levels in the second set of CCE aggregation levels, after receiving the configuration information.
